The great room anchors the house — a cozy fireplace, oversized sofas, and a reading nook that fills with afternoon light. Two primary suites, each with its own newly renovated bath, sit on their own private staircases, while four more bedrooms upstairs and a kids' loft with bunk beds keep the whole crew close without crowding anyone. Down in the game room, a combination pool-and-ping-pong table and a wall of retro arcade games keep the evenings loud in the best way.
Out back, ten acres of Madison, Virginia woodland unfold around a fenced pool, a seven-person hot tub open year-round, and a fire pit ringed with Adirondack chairs built for the long way down from a day exploring Shenandoah National Park.
